Nancy Bocskor, tagged a "Democracy Coach" by a major German newspaper, teaches citizens in the United States and internationally how to communicate with passion to affect change in their communities. Nancy Bocskor is on the board of Running Start, an organization that encourages young women to enter public service. A past Vice President of the Women's Campaign School at Yale, she chaired the school's Curriculum Committee for five years. A graduate of Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio, Nancy received the 2010 "Distinguished Alumna Award" for her "passion to affect change in national and international communities through significant and poignant communication, for the training and consulting with our nation's and world's political leaders, and for your commitment to educate others, especially women, around the world." [Read More] What People Are Saying...Thank you for your most informative presentation, All Politics is Still Personal. With the wonderful technology we have today, I believe political parties have gone "overboard" depending on the technology and forgotten completely that "all politics is still personal." The human factor is the most important ingredient. First and foremost you must reach the people/the voters personally. (Town Hall meetings, restaurants, etc.) One you forget the above and rely almost exclusively on $2,300 fundraisers and technology, a candidate greatly reduces his/her chances of winning. Many of us who have worked this Primary season for candidates who did not win, or did poorly, feel that your presentation All Politics is Still Personal should be heard by every major political organization (RNC, State Republican Parties, Candidates, etc.) It is truly needed! Technology is absolutely necessary today in the political world... but not at the expense of forgetting completely the one-on-one candidate-to-voter contact. Thank you again for this most informative and important presentation. I look forward to receiving your supplemental material on this particular topic. I will also frequently visit your website, as well as suggest to various organizations that they contact you for possible presentation at their conferences and meetings.
